Graduation Flowers Seri Kembangan: Parent's Guide

Published 6 Sept 2026by Fei Fei Floral

Convocation days are long, hot and crowded. What to buy, when to collect it, and how to keep the bouquet photogenic from the morning ceremony to the evening dinner.

Graduation Flowers Seri Kembangan: Parent's Guide

Convocation day in Seri Kembangan usually starts before eight and ends well after dark. Between the hall, the field photos, the family lunch and the evening dinner, a fresh bouquet spends most of the day in a car.

Soap flower bouquets skip that problem entirely, which is why they now dominate our September and October orders from families around Serdang, UPM and Taman Universiti Indah.

Size it for photographs

A bouquet that looks generous in your hand can disappear against a graduation gown. Aim for a piece roughly the width of the graduate's shoulders — big enough to frame the face in a photo, small enough to hold through a long ceremony. Deep pinks, creams and gold read well against black and navy gowns; pale white tends to wash out under hall lighting.

Collect the day before

Convocation mornings do not have room for a delivery window. Most Seri Kembangan families collect from us near The Mines the evening before, or have it delivered the previous afternoon. Keep it flat in the boot, out of the sun, and it looks identical the next morning.

Budget

Hand bouquets run RM90 to RM180; a larger presentation bouquet with a ribbon and a name card sits around RM200 to RM280. Add a small gift box for grandparents to keep, and the whole set is still under RM350.

Two working days, no exceptions

Everything is made to order. Convocation season fills fast — once UPM and the Serdang colleges announce dates, our calendar tightens within a week, so order as soon as you know the date.

Frequently asked questions

Can we add a teddy or a sash?

Yes, add-ons are available; mention it when ordering so we build the bouquet around them.

Will the bouquet survive being passed around all day?

Soap flowers are firm and do not bruise like fresh petals, so yes.

Can you deliver to the campus?

We deliver to a person, not a hall — give us a contact who will be reachable outside the venue.

Can we keep it afterwards?

That is the point. Indoors and away from sun it holds its colour for years.
